"Army Looking at Recruiting More Sikh Soldiers"

The Armed Forces Minister says the head of the British Army is looking at the possibility of recruiting more Sikh soldiers as part of wider plans to increase the number of troops from ethnic minority backgrounds. 
 
Mark Francois was quizzed by former Defence minister, Sir Nicholas Soames, who urged ministers to, in his words, "do away with political correctness" and establish a Sikh regiment.
