Army veteran competes at third Winter Paralympics after Prince Harry message

The Duke of Sussex has paid a moving personal tribute to British Army veteran Scott Meenagh, who has competed for Team GB at the Paralympics.
Meenagh was selected as flag bearer for the opening ceremony and has taken part in two biathlon events.
This is his third and almost certainly his final Paralympic Games for Team GB.

Scott, 36, from Cumbernauld in Scotland, lost both legs in Helmand Province after stepping on an IED while serving with the Parachute Regiment in 2011. He took up sport to "get out of bed in the morning".
Fifteen years later, Scott led the British team in Milano-Cortina and, on Saturday, the Duke of Sussex sent an Instagram message to Scott. Meenagh competed in Saturday's Sit Sprint triathlon, finishing 23rd.
Meenagh said: "Biathlon is one of those sports with chaos everywhere; for me, unfortunately, today that was from second one of the race.
"I wasn't able to keep the execution levels as high as I'd have liked them to be, but I've said from day one, to do this sport effectively, you have to be comfortable in chaos. Today, I experienced a bit more chaos than I'd have liked."

He had higher hopes for the Individual Biathlon on Sunday. He had won a silver medal in the World Championship event in 2023, but in the end, he was placed 18th. It has meant everything to have his family there supporting him and, of course, the whole of his hometown, Cumbernauld.
Meenagh added: "It's spectacular. Coming into my third Paralympic Games is something truly special. At the last one, I didn't have my kids or family here, but now I'm in a nice place and they are here.
"I want to go out and perform at the highest level I can and leave on a real high – but having them here is the real victory."
