Army reign supreme again as Inter Services netball champions after win over RAF
The British Army have been crowned open Inter Services netball champions again after a thrilling final day at RAF Cosford.
It's 10 in a row for the Army squad as they beat the RAF 43-35 to bring the 2026 championships to a close.
In an incredible show of resilience from both sides, the RAF bounced back from the disappointment of day two when they lost by one goal to the Royal Navy to put on an organised and determined performance against the defending champions.

The Army, though, after all this time being the team to beat, showed absolutely no signs of complacency or arrogance as they slowly built a lead from the first centre pass.
And as with every other win, they deserve this one, especially as it marks the retirement of their inspirational leader – after 22 years with Army netball, Ellie Nawele is hanging up her boots.
