British Army drops latest recruitment advert – but would it make you join?
The British Army has released its latest recruitment advert which follows personnel as they rescue a mother and baby caught in the chaos of a flash flood.
It is the second instalment of the Nothing Can Do What a Soldier Can Do campaign, showing that even as the Army becomes more technologically advanced, soldiers will always be its most valuable asset.
The Flood aims to portray the instincts and empathy of British soldiers and also highlights the Army's role in homeland resilience.
Featuring real-life troops, the new work is part of the This Is Belonging campaign, developed in 2017 by Accenture Song, Capita and the British Army.
The 40-second film will run across television, cinema, on-demand services and social media platforms.
Last summer, the British Army released a one-minute ad, featuring a dystopian future where a robotic soldier scouts the terrain of a conflict zone, but ends by showing that only real-life soldiers can make instinctive decisions on the ground.
