David Cameron Launches D-Day 70 Anniversary Events
The Prime Minister has launched events to mark the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings. David Cameron thanked veterans on board HMS Belfast for their bravery as allied forces invaded Normandy on June 6th 1944.
The event was held for fear many of those who fought in Normandy 70 years ago may be too frail to attend events in Normandy to mark next month's anniversary. Will Inglis reports from on board the ship.
