First Fusiliers enjoy celebrating an early St George's Day

Soldiers from the First Fusiliers have celebrated an early St George's Day.
Members of the battalion will be on post-deployment leave during St George's Day on 23 April so they thought the best option was to celebrate early.
First Fusiliers posted footage of the St George's Day event on X, saying: "We celebrated by hosting the remainder of the battle group we spent six months with in Estonia for various activities."
The Fusiliers have regular and reserve armoured infantry Battalions in the reactive role.
Earlier this month, with Op Cabrit rotation 13 coming to a close, the First Fusiliers passed command of the Nato Battlegroup Estonia to 5 Rifles.
The Wiltshire-based Fusiliers previously led the multinational battlegroup on Nato's eastern flank in 2020.
You can take a look at their 6 months working alongside allies in Estonia below.
In October, troops from the First Fusiliers Battlegroup trained alongside troops from Estonia and France in Exercise Bold Fusilier.
The week-long exercise saw the Battlegroup forces test their armoured vehicle capabilities and abilities to negotiate obstacles and fight in congested terrain, like forests. The exercise culminated with the French troops clearing a 700-metre-long trench complex.
In the same month, soldiers from the First Fusiliers performed a traditional haka in honour of Fiji Day.
To mark the island nation's national day, the Fusiliers also sang in the country's language.
