Gunners Take Part In Historic Gun Salute

105 Regiment Royal Artillery, the Scottish and Ulster Gunners, have taken part in an historic gun salute in Valletta, the capital of the Mediterranean Island of Malta.

They are the first British unit to fire there for more than 50 years.

Next year the Royal Artillery celebrates its 300th anniversary and this gun salute is part of a year of celebrations leading up to that, as the gunners mark three centuries of firepower across the world.

Forces TV's Ali Gibson caught up with the British Army reservists the day before the salute, to see their preparations.
