Jackals and Abrams tanks team up to show off their firepower on Nato's eastern flank
British Army Jackal vehicles have teamed up with US Abrams tanks during a live-fire exercise in Poland.
Four Jackals, operated by 1st The Queen's Dragoon Guards, took part in the exercise and were armed with Heavy Machine Guns and Grenade Machine Guns.
The British Army troops are in Poland on Operation Cabrit as part of Nato's enhanced Forward Presence (eFP) in the Baltic countries of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland.
The Jackal is a highly mobile weapons platform that, thanks to its unique airbag suspension, can move rapidly across varying terrain.
It is also designed to protect personnel from roadside explosions and mine attacks.
Joining the Queen's Dragoon Guards and their Jackal vehicles were the US's main battle tank.
Both vehicles could be seen in the footage firing on targets and moving around the ranges in Poland.
The eFP deployment provides a continuous Nato presence along its eastern border.
Deployed troops act as a deterrence against any aggression towards the Alliance's borders.
