A New Sense of Perspective For 1 SCOTS Soldiers

Around 100 soldiers from Alpha Company, The 1st Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland are currently training in the Balkans as part of Operation Elgin – the UK's commitment to reserve peacekeeping operations in Bosnia Herzegovina.

As part of their training they are getting to work in a multinational force and see parts of the world they would never normally have seen.

In the fifth and final part of an exclusive series our reporter Ali Gibson explores how the experience has given these soldiers a new sense of perspective.
