Regional Standby Battalion Tested in Cyprus
The 2nd Battalion, the Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment have been on exercise in Cyprus testing their ability to move at short notice.
2PWRR who are based at Dhekelia, have just taken on a brand new role as the Regional Standby Battalion.
Their soldiers need to maintain operational readiness for potential deployments across the Middle East and North Africa this year.
