Reservists Recover Game of Thrones Sculptor's Statue

Reservists from 2 R IRISH found themselves at the centre of a unique rescue and recovery exercise when a group of ramblers came upon a missing statue.

The sculpture of a Celtic sea god, crafted by Game of Thrones sculptor John Sutton, was stolen from County Londonderry last month.

The theft prompted a campaign for its safe return, and led to a 'missing person appeal' by police.

Forces TV reporter Fiona Weir spoke to the Warrant Officer who led the recovery.
