Security "Inadequate" at Libyan Troop Training Base

Security at an British Army base where Libyan troops were trained last year has been branded ‘inadequate’ by an official report.

The investigation into discipline problems and alleged sex offences also criticises the Ministry of Defence for not communicating properly with local people and authorities.

The training programme at Bassingbourn Barracks was cancelled early after five of the Libyans were arrested.

Paula Middlehurst asked Forces TV correspondent James Hirst about the results of the investigation.
