WG100: Welsh Guards Celebrate Centenary With Mega Marathon

'WG100' is taking place between June and September 2015 in 19 different countries; by the end of the project over 200 soldiers and a host of veterans and members of the Regimental family and will have completed a marathon.

Participation by anyone who has a connection with the Welsh Guards is positively encouraged – there are so many ways to get involved with WG100. Find details of how to apply here.

To celebrate this years centenary, the Welsh Guards will be running over a hundred marathons across 19 countries.

They will start with a tour of Wales in June and then trace their steps through history by following the Regiment’s deployments over the past 100 years

There is currently an appeal for veterans and family members to join in the fun to run alongside serving soldiers.
