Women in Line For Combat Roles From 2016

Defence Secretary Michael Fallon says he hopes to allow women to serve in front-line combat roles by 2016.
 
It follows a review by the Army which calls for further research into the physiological demands placed on those in close combat roles before a final decision is made.
