Black Alligator 2015: Close Quarter Combat

With nearly 1,000 squares miles of barren, sun scorched desert landscape in which to train, Royal Marines have launched themselves into Exercise Black Alligator.

The following close quarters battle footage from Exercise Black Alligator features 42 Commando honing their skills in a unique training environment.

The annual Black Alligator Exercise sees the men of 42 Commando join their US and Dutch counterparts to test the full range of their armouries.
 
Conducted on an all-terrain US Marine Corps exercise area eight times larger than Salisbury Plain they'll be firing 105mm field guns, heavy machine-guns and Javelin anti-tank missiles.
