Could This Be The Ultimate Test Of Endurance?

A team made up of Royal Navy and Royal Marine participants is about to embark on an Antarctic endurance expedition.

The six week challenge is inspired by a 3,000-mile naval journey that took place a century ago.

They will be replicating the exploration of the Antarctic undertaken by former Royal Navy man, Ernest Shackleton, a century ago.

Kate Wathall went to Portsmouth to meet two of the team members.
