First Royal Navy Member to Receive VC During WWI Commemorated

The first member of the Royal Navy to receive the Victoria Cross during World War One has been remembered at a unique family gathering.
 
Lieutenant Norman Holbrook was a submariner when he was awarded the VC.
 
More than 100 members of his family, from four generations, gathered in Portsmouth to commemorate his achievement.
