HMS Bulwark Rescues Hundreds Of Migrants

HMS Bulwark is currently assisting a significant number of migrants in the Mediterranean, providing medical care, food and water. 

More than 400 people are understood to have been rescued using Royal Navy landing craft and are heading back to HMS Bulwark.

Children and pregnant mothers made up some of the migrants being transported on four inflatable rubber dinghies after being found by HMS Bulwark 40 miles off the Libyan coast.

Last week the UK's Flagship rescued 110 migrants, racing at full speed for four hours in order to save them before their makeshift craft sank.
