HMS Defender in Cyprus Stop

The British warship HMS Defender has stopped off in Cyprus at the end of a six-month deployment in the Gulf. 
 
The Type 45 Destroyer has been in the region assisting the US Navy in their airstrikes against Islamic State.
 
UK Minister for Europe David Lidington and Cypriot Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides came aboard for a tour following meetings over security and collaboration.
