HMS Prince of Wales' crew complete over 10,000 burpees for charity

Members of HMS Prince of Wales' crew have taken part in a gruelling challenge which saw personnel complete thousands of deadlifts and more than 10,000 quad-aching burpees, all in aid of charity.
Raising money for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity, a post on the Queen-Elizabeth class carrier's Twitter account said that the 10,388 burpees completed by the crew accounted for every mile the ship sailed during the recent Exercise Cold Response 2022 deployment.
The NATO training, which involved more than 3,000 sailors and Royal Marines, was the largest Arctic exercise for 30 years.

"The fundraiser took a total of 2:11:07 to complete," the ship's official Twitter account said.
In images posted on the social media site, members of the ship's company were seen pushing themselves to the limit while completing burpees.
In another picture, personnel are seen deadlifting weights in a hangar on board the 65,000-tonne carrier.
