Royal Navy Aircrews Return Home From Sierra Leone

Royal Navy aircrews have returned home to their families and friends in Cornwall after a six month deployment in Sierra Leone.

Members of 820 Naval Air Squadron were in West Africa as part of Britain's mission to help tackle the Ebola outbreak.

They were sent in at short notice on board RFA Argus to support the operation.

RFA Argus, meanwhile, arrived back in Falmouth on Tuesday morning after a mission which saw the ship awarded an Admiralty Board Letter of Commendation in recognition of her contribution during the Ebola crisis and in previous deployments dating back to the Falklands War in 1982.
