Unusual Deployment For HMS Iron Duke

Family and friends watched as HMS Iron Duke left Portsmouth this morning for six months at sea.

The Type-23 Frigate is part of a NATO maritime taskgroup which will spend considerable time patrolling the Baltic Sea.

The ship will become the latest British military assett helping to protect NATO's smallest member countries, at a time of heightened international tension.
