Army's Footballers Make Headway In Inter-Services

The Army's footballers have beaten the Royal Navy 1-0 in Aldershot to boost their chances of recording their first Inter Services title in nine years.

A second-half penalty from Callum Wilkinson gave the reds the crucial victory ahead of next week's championship decider with the RAF.

Meanwhile, the women's tournament is finely balanced following a 1-1 draw between the Army and Navy.

The Army will now have to beat the RAF by two clear goals to retain their inter-services title, when they meet at RAF Cosford next Wednesday.
