Bastion Memorial, A Focal Point Of Remembrance

Prince Harry is to attend a service of dedication today to inaugurate the Camp Bastion Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.

The original was deconstructed in late 2014 with the end of combat operations in Afghanistan and bore the names of all 453 UK personnel who died there.

We take a look back at the Bastion Memorial and the story of how it came to be built in Afghanistan.
