Ex Indradhanush: RAF And Indian Air Force Pushed To The Limit

This summer jets from the Indian Air Force trained alongside their British counterparts as part of a joint exercise.

Indian SU-30 fighter planes flew with Typhoons from RAF Coningsby, while paratroopers from both nations took to the skies.

Up to 20 Indian fast jet pilots took part in the exercise, joined by 3 (Fighter) Squadron at RAF Coningsby.

And whilst there was some well-documented healthy competition between the two nations' pilots as the training went on, the skills learned by both air forces' personnel look set to put them in good stead for missions to come.
