Football Team Honours Air Force With Fighter-Jet Kit
An Australian football team is living up to its name after releasing one of the more unusual kits in recent times.

Newcastle Jets, who play in the Australian A-League, are honouring the contributions the country's Air Force make to the local area by unveiling a strip which the 11-year-old inside all of us has long been waiting for.

Three F/A-18 Hornets have always been used in the Jets’ branding - but the club has now taken things one step further by using them on their kit.

It'll be be worn as a one-off, for their match with Brisbane Roar next weekend (06:15 GMT).

What do you think of the Jets' new strip? Would you like to see something similar at your team? Comment below or on our social media pages to let us know!
