Around The World In 395 Days
Exercise Transglobe has come to an end after 35,000 miles and 13 months.
The exercise was a major Joint Services sailing expedition involving two Challenge 67 foot yachts.
One was allocated to the British Army and the second was shared between the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force.
A quarter of those taking part had never been on a sailing yacht before.
It wasn’t an easy challenge with some of the ocean legs – like Auckland to Montevideo via Cape Horn - taking seven weeks.
