British POW's Return To Former Nazi Camp

Seventy years ago the first British prisoner of war camp in Nazi Germany was liberated by advancing Allies at the end of the Second World War.

More than 12-thousand captives experienced the harsh conditions of Stalag Eleven B (Stalag XI-B) at Fallingbostel near Hannover.

After the war Stalag XI-B was used by the British as internment camp for members of the Nazi Party before being largely demolished - apart that is from the delousing hut.

Only a few of the former British prisoners are still alive but as Rob Olver reports, two of them have returned to Germany for the anniversary of their liberation.
