Forces Footballers Back In Action After 2015 Terror Attacks

The UK Armed Forces football team has been training in Portsmouth before setting off to Arnhem, in the Netherlands, for this year's Kentish Cup.

Europe's oldest international cup competition was postponed last year due to the terror attacks in Paris, so the UK forces team are looking to defending the title they won in 2014 as they take on teams from the Netherlands and France.

Corporal Calum Wilkinson said that given the gap caused by the terror attacks last year, it's all the more important for the British team to get out there and defend its title.

Petty Officer Personal Trainer Dave Berry, meanwhile, said that representing the UK Armed Forces through football was the pinnacle of the team's careers, while the side's skipper Corporal Tom Claisse said the players were "buzzing" and couldn't wait to play.
