Georgia Puts Troops' Abilities To The Test

The Georgian Army’s contribution to the new NATO Response Force has been put through its first assessment exercise.
 
The test aims to evaluate the Georgian troops’ readiness to join the unit, which was formed following Russia’s recent annexation of the Crimean region of Ukraine.
 
Overseen by members of other European armies, the Georgian infantry has been practicing attacking and infiltrating an enemy platoon which is threatening vital infrastructure.
