Man Guilty Of Murdering Soldier In Brecon

A man has been found guilty of murdering a soldier who was on a night out in Brecon.
23-year-old Jake Valley was found guilty of killing Private Matthew Boyd in May.
The soldier, from the Royal Gibraltar Regiment, was found injured and unconscious on Lion Street in the Welsh market town in the early hours of the morning last month.
He was taken by ambulance to hospital but later died.
Valley's friend, Aaeron Evans, was found not guilty of manslaughter after the court heard he had tried to break up the fight.
Private Boyd was on a training exercise at the British Army's Infantry Battle School in Brecon, which is regularly used by the SAS.
Brecon is home to the training establishment with the surrounding mountains used throughout the year by troops, including special forces, for training and exercises.
