Military Elite Form Eco-Criminal Hunting Team

In 2013 the famed eco-warrior Pete Bethune decided to form the 'baddest team of conservationists there has ever been'.

Hand-picked from some of the military world's elite units the veterans are 'The Operatives'. Their mission: To gather as much evidence as they can and bring the environmental criminals to justice.

In a UK TV premiere you can now follow their real-life exploits on Forces TV as the illegal hunters of world's oceans and forests become the hunted.

From Africa to Central America, from tuna pirates to seal clubbers no-one is safe, including the Operatives themselves.

Caught up in gun battles, their boats sabotaged, equipment smashed and crippled by injury it's a campaign that will leave only the toughest still standing.

So if you want to go on an armchair journey to some of the world's most beautiful places, see violent criminals uncovered and caught, watch ex-military men and women kicking butt AND do your bit for the planet then tune in this September.

The Operatives: Premieres Friday September 9th at 22:00 on Forces TV - Sky 264, Virgin 277 and Freesat 652
