Para Bobsleigh Champ Excited For Future

Britain’s top Para bobsleigher, Corie Mapp, has welcomed the International Paralympic Committee’s decision to allow the sport into the 2022 Winter Games.
 
The former soldier is currently number two in the world and is about to head to North America to prepare for the new season.

Corie Mapp will always have a place in history as winner of the very first Para bobsleigh World Cup race in January last year. 
 
Now, the sport is set to take its place along with six others, including alpine skiing and the biathlon, at the 2022 Para Winter Games in Beijing. 
 
He says it's a huge step forward.
