Paras' Victoria Crosses Go On Display

Two Victoria Crosses awarded to paratroopers in Afghanistan have gone on display as part of a new exhibition.

It'll form part of the Museum of the Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces at Imperial War Museum Duxford.

Corporal Joshua Leakey VC, whose story is documented in the new exhibition, was there to officially open it.

He was one of two paratroopers to receive the Victoria Cross in Afghanistan, for single-handedly preventing considerable loss of life during an assault on a Taliban stronghold in 2013.
