Prince William Visits British Troops In Germany

The Duke of Cambridge has met British soldiers based in Germany at a parade in Dusseldorf.

The occasion was the 70th birthday of North Rhine Westphalia – a federal state established by British forces after the Second World War.

Alongside the region’s minister, President Hannelore Kraft, the Duke inspected troops from 20th Armoured Infantry Brigade - Britain’s last remaining military formation in Germany.
