Trump: Obama “Is The Founder Of Isis”
Donald Trump has accused US President Barack Obama of founding Daesh.

The Republican presidential nominee claimed the terrorists “honour” the President and used his full name, Barack Hussein Obama.

He told a campaign rally in Florida:
"In many respects, you know, they honour President Obama. He is the founder of Isis."
He repeated the allegation three times.

Mr Trump has previously said his opponent for the US Presidency, Hillary Clinton, was the founder of the militant group.

During the rally he said she was actually the group’s co-founder:
“The Co-founder would be crooked Hillary Clinton. Co Founder! Crooked Hillary Clinton! And that’s what it’s about!”
Supporters at the rally responded by shouting “lock her up!”.

The White House declined to comment on the accusations.

The Presidential hopeful has previously blamed Mr Obama and his former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for their Middle East policies which he claims have created a power vacuum in Iraq that has allowed Daesh to thrive.

Mr Trump has used the President’s full name in the past to try and suggest he was a Muslim or born in Kenya.

Mr Obama is a Christian who was born in Hawaii.

It comes a day after Mr Trump was accused of encouraging gun violence against Mrs Clinton.

He said:
“By the way, and if she gets to pick –if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know.”
The Second Amendment is part of the original 10-item US Bill of Rights and is meant to guarantee the right to legally own firearms.

Mrs Clinton responded by saying the comment was "inciting violence" adding:
"Donald Trump simply does not have the temperament to be president and commander in chief of the United States."
