
UK Armed Forces can eat breakfast for free to mark Armed Forces Day, courtesy of Tesco

To mark Armed Forces Day in the UK, supermarket chain Tesco is offering a free hot breakfast for military personnel at its cafés across the UK.
On Sunday 30 June, "as a thank you for their service", all of Tesco's 301 cafes in the UK – with the presentation of an MOD90 identification card – members of the Armed Forces can get The Breakfast, The Veggie Breakfast, The Vegan Breakfast, Sausage Bap, Veggie Bap or the Bacon Bap for free.
This is the third year the supermarket chain jas offered free breakfasts to the military and this year it has been extended to veterans with a valid veteran's ID card.
Armed Forces Day takes place on the last Saturday of June each year, falling this year on 29 June.
It is a chance for the UK public to show their support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community, from currently serving personnel to service families, veterans and cadets.
Celebrations will take place across the UK, with military displays, parades, and entertainment in more than 100 locations.
The National Memorial Arboretum is marking Armed Forces Day with a range of family activities on 29 and 30 June.
