"UK Should be Doing More to Fight Islamic State"
MPs on the Defence Select Committee say the UK should be doing more to fight Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.
In a report released today, politicians said the UK "can and should be playing a greater role" in fighting IS.
The MPs also claimed that service chiefs are unable to clarify the UK's objectives in Iraq, which the MoD has firmly denied.
In response, the government labelled the report inaccurate and said military action was just part of "comprehensive" action by the international coalition.
Victoria Smith spoke to the committee's chairmain, Conservative MP Rory Stewart, who said Britain's role in fighting Islamic State is "strikingly modest".
Kate Gerbeau, meanwhile, caught up with a Labour spokesman on defence, Ian Lucas, the Shadow Minister for International Security Strategy, and asked him for his take on the developments.
