Pilots Survive Apache Crash
Two crew members have been rescued after their helicopter crashed into the sea near the coast in northern Greece.
 
 
The Apache AH-64. belonging to the Hellenic army, landed after suffering an engine failure during a training exercise on Tuesday close to the shoreline east of the northern city of Thessaloniki.
 
According to initial reports, crew members were not injured but were transported a military hospital in Thessaloniki as a precaution. 
 
The Boeing AH-64 Apache is an American-made four-blade, twin-turboshaft attack helicopter with a a tandem cockpit for a two-man crew. 
 
It features a nose-mounted sensor suite for target acquisition and night vision systems, and It is armed with a 30 mm M230 chain gun.
