Cross-border rivalry at Royal Regiment of Scotland boxing night
Some of the best boxing talent in the Royal Regiment of Scotland has been on show in Edinburgh.
Ten matches in all took place at the Oriam Centre - with a bit of cross-border rivalry thrown in for good measure.
An all 2 SCOTS match started things off with Fusilier Callum Lennie beating Fusilier Luke Watt in their light middleweight contest after going the distance.
There were some bruising encounters, with Highlander Stephen Nixon of 4 SCOTS taking on Private James Bruce of 3 SCOTS, with Nixon coming out on top of his Black Watch opponent.
Highlander Roddy Watson won the last all-Scottish affair – beating Lance Corporal Liam Lynch of 5 SCOTS.
Then it was Scotland v England.
Highlander Olly Woodward won when Private Kian Ruddlesden of the Royal Anglian Regiment was injured in the first round.
Corporal Kawdowsoe H'Too of the Yorkshire Regiment evened things up with a win over Private Ashton Demarco of 5 SCOTS.

Fusilier Caleb Donaghy of 2 SCOTS then beat Private Alfie King of the Anglians and claimed best boxer of the night.
He said: "I'm over the moon. He was a fast hitter - he was orthodox.
"He got me down in the first round well good - liver shot - and I knew I couldn’t stay down, not too long, because then he will start like mentally prepare ... to do me again.
"So the second round I just kept counterpunching and dancing about and continued that to third round."

The Scots and Anglians rivalry continued when Fusilier Dani Mullen faced off against Lance Corporal Pheobe Mercer in another tense encounter.
The match ended up going the full three rounds before Mullen won on a spilt decision.
Private Findlay Bishop then restored some pride to the Anglians when he picked up a unanimous points win over Fusilier Marcus Mowles.
But the Scots finished the night on a high in the final Cruiserweight bout between Sergeant Craig Aitchison and Private Ewan Eliffe.
Another close-run contest saw the Scot taking the win on a split decision - giving the Jocks the bragging rights on the night.
