Army men's volleyball team make winning start to National Shield against Newbury

The British Army men's volleyball team have made a winning start to the 2025 National Shield competition.
The military team took on Newbury in the opening match at Trinity School and managed to dispatch them with a 3-0 score.
The first and second sets were competitive encounters with the Army shading the first set 25-19 and the second set 25-20.

Newbury rallied in the third set, but it was the Army who wrapped up victory with a 28-26 win.
The team, who were recently nominated for Army Team of the Year, are the reigning Inter Services and Crown Services champions.
