Army reservist Kerenza Bryson named in GB squad for World Championships

British Army reservist Kerenza Bryson will return to the international stage at the 2026 Modern Pentathlon World Championships in China.
The event, which kicks off on 23 August, sees Bryson look to boost her 2028 Olympics chances with a medal.
The 2024 UKAF Sportswoman of the Year, who turns 28 in September, has won medals at World Cup events and made her Olympics debut in Paris two years ago.

She's currently ranked 24th in the world rankings and reached the semi-finals of the European Championships in Istanbul, Turkey, earlier this month.
Her form this year has been good as she's reached the final of World Cup events in Bulgaria and Hungary on her return to action after Paris in 2024.
