Army sailing team take on non-stop race around Britain and Ireland
Running out of coffee is one of the main concerns for a sailing team made up of British Army personnel currently racing 1,805 nautical miles around the UK and Ireland.
Major Will Naylor, the skipper of the Fujitsu British Soldier yacht, told Forces News it is "the biggest race" the team competes in and is a "fantastic sailors' race".
"We're going well, light winds, as everyone has had, but we're close to the top of Ireland now and going nicely," he said.
The winds have meant the race will be longer than the team had hoped, which Maj Naylor said has been "mentally tough".
The sailors have already started rationing water, food and other supplies, including "double using coffee bags".
"Our main concern is that we run out of coffee!" Maj Naylor added.
