Army show determination and teamwork to win Inter Services Tug of War
The Army dominated in the Inter Services Tug of War Championships at RAF Cosford.
With one man down in their 640kg category, they managed to take home the trophy.
In the first round, in the 680kg men's category, the Army A team started off strong ,finishing with 9 points.
From there, the Army A's winning streak continued, winning across all three categories.
They finished high with 9 points on the mixed 4x4 600kg round, which saw both men and women working together to pull over the line.
The Army B team came second in all their categories.
With just one team in the 680kg category, the Royal Navy secured a third position.
The RAF, who also had one team in the 680kg ,fell short in fourth place.
In the 640kg, the RAF A team sneaked over the line with one point ahead of the Royal Navy, securing third place.

The Royal Navy did not have a ladies' team for the event at RAF Cosford and were unable to compete in the mixed 4x4 600kg round.
The Army's ladies' team kept up the momentum by also securing the trophy in the 560kg category. Taking home 11 points to the RAF’s 0.
The teams now look ahead to their next major completion in Scotland, the Braemar Gathering Tug of War and Medley Relay, which will be competed in front of King Charles, who is patron of the games.
