RAF judokas continue winning run with gold medal success at British Veterans Championship
Two RAF judokas have won gold medals at the 2025 British Veterans Championships in Walsall.
Sergeant Andy Melbourne picked up a gold after beating Gabib Gadzhialev from Derby Olympus Judo Club in the over-100kg M2 category.
It follows his silver medal at the European Judo Championships Veterans in Latvia in May and gold at the British Veterans Open in March.

Elsewhere, Squadron Leader Steve Milne, who is the chairman of UK Armed Forces Judo, also picked up a gold medal in the under-100kg M2 category.
He defeated Lee Balla from JSC Judo Club in the final to back up a silver medal he won at the British Veterans Open.
