British Army track and field athletes provided a day of fascinating competition at the 2026 Inter Corps championships.

The Royal Signals won the men's team title while the Royal Engineers took the women's crown.

In the individual races, a number of personal bests were achieved in the 38 different events that took place.

Sapper Omaro Thomas won the men's 100m sprint, finishing 16 seconds ahead of his nearest rivals, and in the men's high jump, Lance Sergeant Eugent Okantah finished on top of the podium.

Elsewhere, the women's 400m hurdles event saw Corporal Georgia Clarke race to the finish line first for the Royal Engineers, while Bomdardier Alice Miell showed her power to win the shot put event.

Athletes will now turn their attention to the Inter Services which take place in Aldershot on July 8.
