Royal Engineers and Royal Army Medical Service reign supreme at service athletics championships
It was success for the Royal Engineers men's team and the Royal Army Medical Services women's team at the 2025 Army Athletics Championships at Aldershot.
Athletes representing cap badges from across the Army took to the track, racing for Inter Corps glory and individual bests.
Lance Corporal Marvric Pamphile from the Royal Engineers completed a men's sprint double, winning both the 100m and 200m races, and he's got his eyes on further gold at the Inter Services next month.

He said: "I want to set a marker at Inter Services. I'm aiming to at least go sub-21 and maybe 46 in the 400 there.
"Cosford. The last time I ran there, it was a decent track. If the opportunity does come, I'll definitely be there for Inter Services."
The women's 200m and 400m sprint events were won by REME soldier Captain Laura Clark, who has bounced back after an injury-ravaged year.
Her 2025 was boosted by an Army training camp in Australia and a county championship with Surrey.
Elsewhere, reigning Army champion and forces record holder Keston James warmed up for the defence of his Inter Services title with victory in the men's javelin. His throw of 57.77 metres was more than enough to clinch victory.
