
Former world champions Dillian Whyte and Charlie Edwards join Navy boxing team for training

The Royal Navy boxing team have received a visit from two of the best British boxers ever as Dillian Whyte and Charlie Edwards were on hand to give advice at their recent training camp in the Algarve.
The Senior Service are in Portugal on a warm weather training camp ahead of a fight night against the Western Counties as well as the Inter Services.
It provided the perfect chance for Edwards and Whyte, both former world champions in their weight classes, to impart their wisdom on the Navy boxers, who will look to dethrone the Army at this year's Inter Services in March.

Royal Navy Boxing said: "We were privileged to have legendary professional boxers Dillian Whyte and Charlie Edwards in the gym, working hands-on with our boxers.
"Their in-ring coaching, corner advice, and shared tips and tricks provided invaluable insight to help elevate performance and sharpen skills in the ring."
Whyte's big match experience could be vital lessons for the Navy boxers to learn, with his rivalries against Derek Chisora and Tyson Fury providing major boxing experiences.
