British Army cricket team keep T20 title hopes alive with win over Royal Navy at Lord's
The Royal Navy's Inter Services T20 title defence has started with defeat to the British Army at Lord's Cricket Ground.
The men in red, who were beaten by the RAF on Tuesday, overcame a flurry of early wickets to set a total of 148/8 in the first innings.
The Navy will still have fancied their chances of victory, but three wickets from Jay Boynton in his final T20 match for the Army helped them limit the champions to a 132/8 total – 16 runs shy of the required target.

Dan Robbins was the top scorer with the bat as the Navy star scored 44 runs from 31 balls before being trapped leg-before-wicket by Boynton.
The Army's strength in depth was the footing for their win as seven players hit double figures with the bat compared to the Navy's three.
