Five-Goal Army Footballers Batter Camberley
The British Army's preparations for the Inter Services continued as they strolled to a 5-0 win over Camberley.
The match was being played to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Aldershot Divisional Football Association.
Sean Thomson, Dan Stoneman, Calum Wilkinson (2) and Clay Bryant got the goals on a cold night at the Aldershot Military Stadium.
After a slow start, it was the Army who struck first after 16 minutes.
Thomson was allowed to lash home a volley after Camberley failed to clear their lines.
The forces side were soon 2-0 up as key man Stoneman got on the scoresheet.
The attacker was allowed to stroll through the Camberley defence before slot into the far corner.
It wasn't all one-way traffic though. Army goalkeeper Luke Cairney was forced into a good save from Mark Jordan's menacing free-kick.

Last season, the Army were without Wilkinson but the striker is back in the line-up and took control of the match.
His first of the night came just before half-time as he effortlessly glided through the defence to fire home.
In the second half, both Stoneman and Kyle Cassell went close but it was Wilkinson who would score the fourth goal.
Stoneman got the assist with a well-placed cross and Wilkinson's finish at the back post gave the Camberley goalkeeper no chance.
There was still time for a fifth goal and a nice moment for Bryant.
The young striker has recently made the step up from the under 23s set-up and managed to get his first goal for the senior set up with a stunning volley,
The victory means the Army will head into the tri-service tournament in confident mood.
